Al-Anbiyaa
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَمَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا لَـٰعِبِينَ 16
{16} Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu anajulisha kwamba hakuumba mbingu na ardhi bure au kwa mchezo bila ya faida yoyote. Bali aliziumba kwa haki na kwa ajili ya haki, ili waja waweze kuvitumia kama ushahidi kwamba Yeye ndiye Muumba Mkuu, Mwendeshaji mambo Mwenye hekima, Mwingi wa rehema, Mwingi wa kurehemu, ambaye ana ukamilifu wote, na sifa zote, na utukufu wote, Mkweli katika usemi wake, ambaye Mitume wake ni wakweli katika yale wanayojulisha kumhusu. Na kwamba anaweza kuviumba pamoja na upana wake na ukubwa wake, na anaweza kurudisha miili baada ya mauti yake, ili amlipe mzuri kwa uzuri wake, na mbaya kwa ubaya wake.
