Al-Anbiyaa
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. فَمَا زَالَت تِّلْكَ دَعْوَىٰهُمْ حَتَّىٰ جَعَلْنَـٰهُمْ حَصِيدًا خَـٰمِدِينَ 15
{15} "Basi hakikuacha hicho kuwa ndicho kilio chao" kwamba ni ole wao, na kuomba maangamivu na majuto, na kukiri wenyewe kwa ndimi zao kwamba walikuwa madhalimu, na kwamba Mwenyezi Mungu ni muadilifu katika yale aliyowatia, "mpaka tukawafanya kama waliofyekwa, wamezimika." Kama vile mimea ambayo imefyekwa na kulazwa, tayari harakati zao zimezimika, na sauti zao zimetulia. Kwa hivyo jihadharini enyi mnaoongeleshwa na kuendelea kumkadhibisha mtukufu zaidi wa Mitume wote, mkaja fikiwa na adhabu kama walivyofikiwa wale.
