Qaaf 50:10
قوَٱلنَّخْلَ بَاسِقَـٰتٍ لَّهَا طَلْعٌ نَّضِيدٌ
اور کھجوروں کے بلند وباﻻ درخت جن کے خوشے تہ بہ تہ ہیں.[1]
[1] بَاسِقَاتٍ کے معنی طِوَالا شِاهِقَاتٍ، بلند وبالا طَلْعٌ، کھجور کا وہ گدرا گدرا پھل، جو پہلے پہل نکلتا ہے، نَضِيدٌ کے معنی تہ بہ تہ۔ باغات میں کھجور کا پھل بھی آجاتا ہے۔ لیکن اسے الگ سے بطور خاص ذکر کیا، جس سے کھجور کی وہ اہمیت واضح ہے جو عرب میں اسے حاصل ہے۔
