Ad-Dukhaan 44:29
الدخانفَمَا بَكَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ وَٱلْأَرْضُ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُنظَرِينَ
سو ان پر نہ تو آسمان وزمین[1] روئے اور نہ انہیں مہلت ملی.
[1] یعنی ان فرعونیوں کے نیک اعمال ہی نہیں تھے جو آسمان پر چڑھتے اور ان کا سلسلہ منقطع ہونے پر آسمان روتے، نہ زمین پر ہی وہ اللہ کی عبادت کرتے تھے کہ اس سے محرومی پر زمین روتی۔ مطلب یہ ہے کہ آسمان وزمین میں سے کوئی بھی ان کی ہلاکت پر رونے والا نہیں تھا۔ (فتح القدیر)۔
