Az-Zumar 39:57
الزمرأَوْ تَقُولَ لَوْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هَدَىٰنِى لَكُنتُ مِنَ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ
یا کہے کہ اگر اللہ مجھے ہدایت کرتا تو میں بھی پارسا لوگوں میں ہوتا.[1]
[1] یعنی اگر اللہ مجھے ہدایت دے دیتا تو میں شرک اور معاصی سے بچ جاتا۔ یہ اس طرح ہی ہے جیسے دوسرے مقام پرمشرکین کا قول نقل کیا گیا ہے، لَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مَا أَشْرَكْنَا (الأنعام: 148) ”اگر اللہ چاہتا تو ہم شرک نہ کرتے“ ان کا یہ قول كَلِمَةُ حَقٍّ أُرِيدَ بِهَا الْبَاطِلُ . . . کامصداق ہے۔ (فتح القدیر)۔
