Ash-Shu'araa 26:207
الشعراءمَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يُمَتَّعُونَ
تو جو کچھ بھی یہ برتتے رہے اس میں سے کچھ بھی فائده نہ پہنچا سکے گا.[1]
[1] یعنی اگر ہم انہیں مہلت دے دیں اور پھر انہیں اپنے عذاب کی گرفت میں لیں، تو کیا دنیا کا مال و متاع ان کے کچھ کام آئے گا؟ یعنی انہیں عذاب سے بچاسکے گا؟ نہیں، یقیناً نہیں۔ «وَمَا هُوَ بِمُزَحْزِحِهِ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ أَنْ يُعَمَّرَ» (البقرة: 96) «وَمَا يُغْنِي عَنْهُ مَالُهُ إِذَا تَرَدَّى» (الليل: 11)۔
