Al-Anbiyaa 21:58
الأنبياءفَجَعَلَهُمْ جُذَٰذًا إِلَّا كَبِيرًا لَّهُمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِ يَرْجِعُونَ
پس اس نے ان سب کے ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کر دیئے ہاں صرف بڑے بت کو چھوڑ دیا یہ بھی اس لئے کہ وه سب اس کی طرف ہی لوٹیں.[1]
[1] چنانچہ وہ جس دن اپنی عید یا کوئی جشن مناتے تھے، ساری قوم اس کے لئے باہر چلی گئی اور ابراہیم (عليه السلام) نے موقع غنیمت جان کر انہیں توڑ پھوڑ کر رکھ دیا صرف ایک بڑا بت چھوڑ دیا، بعض کہتے ہیں کہ کلہاڑی اس کے ہاتھ میں پکڑا دی تاکہ وہ اس سے پوچھیں۔
