At-Tin
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيْتُونِ 1 وَطُورِ سِينِينَ 2 وَهَـٰذَا ٱلْبَلَدِ ٱلْأَمِينِ 3
{1 - 3} Mwenyezi Mungu aliapa kwa miti hii miwili; kwa sababu ya manufaa mengi ya miti hii na matunda yake, na kwa sababu mamlaka yake katika ardhi ya Sham ndiyo yalikuwa mahala pa unabii wa Isa bin Maryam, amani iwe juu yake "Na kwa Mlima wa Sinai" ambapo palikuwa mahali pa unabii wa Musa, amani iwe juu yake. "Na kwa mji huu wenye amani!" Nao ni Makka Tukufu, mahala pa unabii pa Muhammad - rehema na amani zimshukie. Kwa hivyo Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu akaapa kwa sehemu hizi takatifu ambazo alizichagua na akatuma kutoka hapo manabii bora na watukufu zaidi.
