Al-A'raaf
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. أَيُشْرِكُونَ مَا لَا يَخْلُقُ شَيْـًٔا وَهُمْ يُخْلَقُونَ 191 وَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ لَهُمْ نَصْرًا وَلَآ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَنصُرُونَ 192
{191 - 192} Lakini jambo likawa kinyume, kwa hivyo wakamshirikisha Mwenyezi Mungu "kisichoumba kitu, hali ya kuwa wao wanaoumbwa. Wala hawawezi kuwanusuru;" yaani, wale wanaowaabudu "wala wao wenyewe hawajinusuru." Basi ikiwa haviumbi kitu hata uzito wa chembe, bali hivyo vimeumbwa, wala haviwezi kuzuia machukizo dhidi ya yule anayeviabudu, wala hata hivyo vyenyewe, basi vipi vinafanywa miungu pamoja na Mwenyezi Mungu? Haya si chochote isipokuwa ni dhuluma kubwa zaidi ya dhuluma zote, na upumbavu mkubwa zaidi ya upumbavu wote.
