Az-Zumar
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. لَهُم مِّن فَوْقِهِمْ ظُلَلٌ مِّنَ ٱلنَّارِ وَمِن تَحْتِهِمْ ظُلَلٌ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ يُخَوِّفُ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦ عِبَادَهُۥ ۚ يَـٰعِبَادِ فَٱتَّقُونِ 16
{16} Kisha akataja ukubwa wa mashaka yatakayowapata, akasema: "Yatawekwa juu yao matabaka ya moto na chini yao matabaka." Kwa hayo tuliyoielezea, adhabu ya wakazi wa Motoni ni mjeledi ambao kwa huo Mwenyezi Mungu anawachungia waja wake kwenda kwenye rehema zake na "Mwenyezi Mungu anawahofisha waja wake. Enyi waja wangu! Nicheni Mimi," na ni karipio kutokana na yale ambayo yanawasababishia adhabu. Ametakasika Yule ambaye amewarehemu waja wake katika kila jambo! Pia amewasahilishia njia zinazofikisha huko na akawahimiza kuzifuata. Akawatia moyo kwa kila kitu ambacho nafsi inatamani sana, na nyoyo zinatulia juu yake. Akawatahadharisha tahadharisho kubwa sana dhidi ya kufanyia kazi mambo yasiyokuwa hilo na akawatajia sababu za kuwakataza hadi wayaache.
