Al-Ahzaab
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِهِمْ ضِعْفَيْنِ مِنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ وَٱلْعَنْهُمْ لَعْنًا كَبِيرًا 68
{68} Na walipojua kwamba wao na wakuu wao wanastahiki kuadhibiwa, wakataka kupata ponya kutoka kwa wale waliowapoteza, wakasema: "Mola wetu Mlezi, wape wao adhabu mara mbili, na uwalaani laana kubwa." Lakini Mwenyezi Mungu atasema "itakuwa kwenu nyote marudufu;" kwani nyote mlishiriki katika ukafiri na uasi, basi mtashiriki katika adhabu, hata kama adhabu ya baadhi yenu itakuwa tofauti kulingana na ukubwa wa utofauti wa uhalifu wake.
