As-Sajda
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. أَفَمَن كَانَ مُؤْمِنًا كَمَن كَانَ فَاسِقًا ۚ لَّا يَسْتَوُۥنَ 18
{18} Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu anatanabahisha akili uu ya yale ambayo yamethibiti ndani yake ya kwamba haviwezi kutoshana vitu viwili tofauti, na kwamba hekima yake inahitaji kwamba visiwe sawa. Akasema: "Ati aliye Muumini" ambaye amejaza imani katika moyo wake, na viungo vyake vikafuata sheria zake, na imani yake hiyo ikahitaji zitekelezwe athhri zake na wajibu zake kama vile kuacha yanye kumghadhabisha Mwenyezi Mungu, ambayo yanapokuwepo yanadhuru imani, "atakuwa sawa na aliye mpotovu," ambaye moyo wake uliharibika na ukakosa imani, na ukawa hauna shinikizo la kidini ndani yake, kwa hivyo viungo vyake vikakimbilia mambo ya ujinga na dhuluma katika kila dhambi na maasia, na akatoka kwa kuvuka kwake mipaka katika kumtii Mola wake Mlezi, basi je wanatoshana watu hawa wawili? "Hawawi sawa" katika akili na katika sheria; kama vile usiku na mchana, nuru na giza haviwi sawa, basi vile vile malipo yao katika Akhera hayatakuwa sawa.
