As-Sajda
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. فَلَا تَعْلَمُ نَفْسٌ مَّآ أُخْفِىَ لَهُم مِّن قُرَّةِ أَعْيُنٍ جَزَآءًۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ 17
{17} Ama malipo yao, akasema, "Nafsi yoyote haijui." Na hili zinaingia ndani yake nafsi za viumbe wote, kwa sababu imetumika nomino ya kawaida katika muktadha wa kukanusha. Yaani, hakuna yeyote ajuaye "waliyofichiwa katika hayo yanayofurahisha macho" ya heri nyingi na neema tele, na furaha tele na raha. Kama Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu alivyosema kwa ulimi wa Mtume Wake, “Nimewaandalia waja wangu wema kile ambacho jicho halijapata kuona, wala sikio halijapata kusikia, wala halijapata kupita katika moyo wa mwanadamu yeyote.” Basi kama vile walivyoswali usiku na wakaomba na wakaficha matendo yao; akawalipa kwa aina sawa na matendo yao. Na ndiyo maana akasema "ni malipo ya yale waliyokuwa wakiyatenda."
