Al-Anbiyaa
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. وَلَقَدِ ٱسْتُهْزِئَ بِرُسُلٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَحَاقَ بِٱلَّذِينَ سَخِرُوا۟ مِنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ 41
{41} Na alipotaja kumkejeli kwao Mtume wake kwa maneno yao: "Je, ndiye huyu anayeitaja miungu yenu?" Na hakika Mitume walio kabla yako walifanyiwa kejeli "na wajumbe walidhihakiwa hapo awali, kwa hivyo wale waliowadhihaki walifikiwa;" yaani yaliwashukia, " yale waliyokuwa wakiyakejeli." Yaani, adhabu iliwapata na kukatiliwa uwezo wao. Watu hawa wajihadhari yasije yakawapata hao wakanushaji.
