Al-Anbiyaa
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. بَلْ تَأْتِيهِم بَغْتَةً فَتَبْهَتُهُمْ فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ رَدَّهَا وَلَا هُمْ يُنظَرُونَ 40
{40} "Bali utawafikia" moto "kwa ghafla" na hivyo watahtushwa na usumbufu, na hofu kubwa. "Na utawashitua na wala hawataweza kuurudisha." Wamefedheheshwa na ni dhaifu zaidi kuliko hayo. "Hawatapewa muda wa kupumzika;" na hawatopewa muhula ili kucheleweshewa adhabu. Laiti wangelijua hali hii vizuri; wasingelikimbilia kwenye adhabu, na wangeiogopa zaidi, lakini maarifa haya yasingeliondoka kwao, walisema kile walichosema.
