This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. سَرَابِيلُهُم مِّن قَطِرَانٍ وَتَغْشَىٰ وُجُوهَهُمُ ٱلنَّارُ 50
{50} "Nguo zao;" yaani nguo zao "zitakuwa za lami" na hayo ni kwa sababu ya kuwaka kwa moto mkali ndani yao na joto lake na uvundo wa harufu yake, "na utazigubika nyuso zao" ambazo ndicho kitu chenye heshima zaidi katika miili yao; "Moto" utakaozizunguka na kuziingia kutokea pande zote; yaani, kuizunguka. Basi viungo visivyokuwa nyuso vinalistahiki na kulifailia zaidi hilo.
