Shaykh Dr. Hamza Yusuf
Scholar, co-founder of Zaytuna College
Born Mark Hanson in 1958 in Walla Walla, Washington. He accepted Islam in 1977 and studied in the United Arab Emirates and in North and West Africa. In Berkeley he co-founded Zaytuna College, where he is president. He completed a doctorate at the Graduate Theological Union in 2020.
