الجواهر الحسان في تفسير القرآنThis is the Arabic text of a classical tafsīr as the Quranic Universal Library (QUL, by Tarteel) has it, taken through the open copy of QUL’s data that spa5k/tafsir_api keeps. QUL does not say which printed edition it follows and states no licence for the texts, so the right to show them is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book or a manuscript, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there. Where the text carries a note of an editor’s, in double brackets, it is shown as it stands. There is no translation yet.

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱسْجُدُوا۟ لِلرَّحْمَـٰنِ قَالُوا۟ وَمَا ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ أَنَسْجُدُ لِمَا تَأْمُرُنَا وَزَادَهُمْ نُفُورًا ۩ 60 تَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ بُرُوجًا وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا سِرَٰجًا وَقَمَرًا مُّنِيرًا 61
وَإِذا قِيلَ لَهُمُ اسْجُدُوا لِلرَّحْمنِ قالُوا وَمَا الرَّحْمنُ يعني أَنَّ كفار قريش قالوا: ما نعرف الرحمن إلاَّ رحمن اليمامة، وهو مُسَيْلَمَةَ الكَذَّابَ، وكان مُسَيْلَمَةُ تَسَمَّى بالرحمن.
أَنَسْجُدُ لِما تَأْمُرُنا وَزادَهُمْ هذا اللفظُ نُفُوراً والبروج هي التي عَلِمْتَها العرب، وهي المشهورة عند اللغويين وأهل تعديل الأوقات، وكل برج منها على منزلتين وثلث من منازل القمر التي ذكرها الله تعالى في قوله: وَالْقَمَرَ قَدَّرْناهُ مَنازِلَ [يس: 39] .
