جامع البيان في تأويل آي القرآنThis is the Arabic text of a classical tafsīr as the Quranic Universal Library (QUL, by Tarteel) has it, taken through the open copy of QUL’s data that spa5k/tafsir_api keeps. QUL does not say which printed edition it follows and states no licence for the texts, so the right to show them is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book or a manuscript, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there. Where the text carries a note of an editor’s, in double brackets, it is shown as it stands. There is no translation yet.

لَا يَرْقُبُونَ فِى مُؤْمِنٍ إِلًّا وَلَا ذِمَّةً ۚ وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُعْتَدُونَ 10
القول في تأويل قوله: ﴿لا يَرْقُبُونَ فِي مُؤْمِنٍ إِلا وَلا ذِمَّةً وَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُعْتَدُونَ (١٠) ﴾
قال أبو جعفر: يقول تعالى ذكره: لا يتقي هؤلاء المشركون الذين أمرتكم، أيها المؤمنون، بقتلهم حيث وجدتموهم، في قتل مؤمن لو قدورا عليه = ﴿إلا ولا ذمة﴾ ، يقول: فلا تبقوا عليهم، أيها المؤمنون، كما لا يبقون عليكم لو ظهروا عليكم [[انظر تفسير " الإل " و " الذمة " فيما سلف قريبا ص: ١٤٥ - ١٤٩.]] = ﴿وأولئك هم المعتدون﴾ ، يقول: المتجاوزون فيكم إلى ما ليس لهم بالظلم والاعتداء.
