جامع البيان في تأويل آي القرآنThis is the Arabic text of a classical tafsīr as the Quranic Universal Library (QUL, by Tarteel) has it, taken through the open copy of QUL’s data that spa5k/tafsir_api keeps. QUL does not say which printed edition it follows and states no licence for the texts, so the right to show them is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book or a manuscript, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there. Where the text carries a note of an editor’s, in double brackets, it is shown as it stands. There is no translation yet.

فَإِنِ ٱنتَهَوْا۟ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ 192
القول في تأويل قوله تعالى: ﴿فَإِنِ انْتَهَوْا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ (١٩٢) ﴾
قال أبوجعفر: يعني تعالى ذكره بذلك: فإن انتهى الكافرون الذين يقاتلونكم عن قتالكم وكفرهم بالله، فتركوا ذلك وتابوا،"فإن الله غفور" لذنوب من آمن منهم وتاب من شركه، وأناب إلى الله من معاصيه التي سلفت منه وأيامه التي مَضت ="رحيم" به في آخرته بفضله عليه، وإعطائه ما يعطى أهل طاعته من الثواب بإنابته إلى محبته من معصيته. كما:
٣١١٢ - حدثنا المثنى قال، حدثنا أبو حذيفة قال، حدثنا شبل، عن ابن أبي نجيح، عن مجاهد:"فإن انتهوا" = فإن تابوا ="فإن الله غفورٌ رَحيم".
