جامع البيان في تأويل آي القرآنThis is the Arabic text of a classical tafsīr as the Quranic Universal Library (QUL, by Tarteel) has it, taken through the open copy of QUL’s data that spa5k/tafsir_api keeps. QUL does not say which printed edition it follows and states no licence for the texts, so the right to show them is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book or a manuscript, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there. Where the text carries a note of an editor’s, in double brackets, it is shown as it stands. There is no translation yet.

ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَآ أَصَـٰبَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةٌ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّآ إِلَيْهِ رَٰجِعُونَ 156
القول في تأويل قوله تعالى: ﴿الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُمْ مُصِيبَةٌ قَالُوا إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ (١٥٦) ﴾
قال أبو جعفر: يعني تعالى ذكره: وبشّر، يا محمد، الصابرين الذين يعلمون أن جميع ما بهم من نعمة فمنّي، فيُقرون بعبوديتي، ويوحِّدونني بالربوبية، ويصدقون بالمعاد والرجوع إليّ فيستسلمون لقضائي، ويرجون ثَوابي، ويخافون عقابي، ويقولون -عند امتحاني إياهم ببعض مِحَني، وابتلائي إياهم بما وعدتهم أنْ أبتليهم به من الخوف والجوع ونَقص الأموال والأنفس والثمرات وغير ذلك من المصائب التي أنا مُمتحنهم بها-: إنا مماليك ربنا ومعبودنا أحياءً، ونحن عبيده وإنا إليه بعد مَماتنا صائرون = تسليمًا لقضائي ورضًا بأحكامي.
