Az-Zalzala
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُۥ 7 وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُۥ 8
{7-8} "Basi anayetenda chembe ya wema, atauona! Na anayetenda chembe ya uovu atauona!" Hili linajumuisha wema na uovu wote. Kwa sababu akiuona uzito wa chembe ambayo ndicho kitu duni zaidi, na akalipwa kwacho, basi kilicho juu ya hicho kinafaa na kustahiki zaidi, kama alivyosema Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu: "Siku ambayo kila nafsi itakuta mema iliyoyafanya yamehudhurishwa, na pia ubaya ilioufanya. Itapenda nafsi lau kungekuwako masafa marefu baina ya ubaya huo na yeye." Pia akasema "Na watayakuta yote waliyoyatenda yamehudhuria hapo." Katika haya kuna kupeana moyo wa kutenda mema, hata ikiwa ni kidogo, na kutishia dhidi ya kufanya maovu, hata yakiwa ni madogo vipi.
