Al-Qadr
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. سَلَـٰمٌ هِىَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ ٱلْفَجْرِ 5
{5} "Amani usiku huo" kutokana na kila balaa na uovu, kwa hilo ni kwa sababu ya wingi wa heri zake, "mpaka mapambazuko ya alfajiri." Yaani, huanza kwa kuzama kwa jua na kuisha alfajiri. Zimeripotiwa hadithi nyingi za Mtume kuhusu fadhila zake, na kwamba ni katika Ramadhani na katika siku kumi za mwisho za Ramadhani, hasa katika siku za witiri (zisizogawanyika mara mbili sawasawa), nao utaendelea kuwepo kila mwaka hadi Saa ya Kiyama, na ndiyo maana Mtume - rehema na amani za Mwenyezi Mungu zimshukie - alikuwa akifanya itikafu na kufanya ibada kwa nyingi katika kumi la mwisho la Ramadhani, akitarajia kupata Laylat Al-Qadr. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye ajuaye zaidi.
