Al-Qadr
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. Sabīl did not write or translate any of it.

لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ 3
{3} "Laylatul Qadri ni bora kuliko miezi elfu moja." Yaani, ni sawa na miezi elfu moja katika fadhila zake. Kwa hivyo matendo yanayofanywa ndani yake ni bora zaidi kuliko matendo yanayofanywa ndani ya miezi elfu moja isiyokuwa huo. Na hili ni katika mambo ambayo akili zinachanganyikiwa kwa sababu yake na kustaajabu. Kwa kuwa [Mwenyezi Mungu mtakatifu] Mtukufu aliuneemesha umma huu dhaifu, nguvu na uwezo katika usiku mmoja tu ambao matendo ya ndani yake ni sawa na au yanazidi matendo ya miezi elfu moja, muda wa maisha ya mtu aliyeishi kwa muda mrefu, miaka themanini na zaidi.
