Al-Lail
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. وَمَا يُغْنِى عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥٓ إِذَا تَرَدَّىٰٓ 11
{11} "Na mali yake yatamfaa nini" mali ambayo ilimfanya kuvuka mipaka, na akajiona kajitosheleza, na akaifanyia ubahili, atakapoangamia na kufa. Kwa maana mtu hataenda akhera isipokuwa na matendo yake mazuri. Ama mali yake, ambayo hakutoa humo kilicho cha wajibu, basi hiyo itakuwa balaa kwake. Kwa sababu hakutanguliza chochote kutoka kwayo kwa ajili ya Akhera.
