Al-Balad
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. Sabīl did not write or translate any of it.

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْعَقَبَةُ 12 فَكُّ رَقَبَةٍ 13 أَوْ إِطْعَـٰمٌ فِى يَوْمٍ ذِى مَسْغَبَةٍ 14 يَتِيمًا ذَا مَقْرَبَةٍ 15 أَوْ مِسْكِينًا ذَا مَتْرَبَةٍ 16
{12 - 16} Kisha akaelezea vikwazo hivi kwa kauli yake: "Kumkomboa mtumwa" kutoka katika utumwa kwa kumwachilia huru au kumsaidia kulipa alichoandikiana na mmiliki wake, na tena lililo muhimu zaidi ni kumkomboa mateka Mwislamu anayeshikiliwa na makafiri. "Au kumlisha siku ya njaa" kali, kwa kuwalisha masikini wahitaji zaidi. "Yatima aliye jamaa." Naye huyu ameunganisha kati ya kuwa yatima na kuwa jamaa masikini. "Au masikini aliye vumbini" kutokana na mahataji yake mazito.
