At-Taariq
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلطَّارِقِ 1 وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلطَّارِقُ 2 ٱلنَّجْمُ ٱلثَّاقِبُ 3 إِن كُلُّ نَفْسٍ لَّمَّا عَلَيْهَا حَافِظٌ 4
{1 - 4} Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu anasema: "Ninaapa kwa mbingu na Kinachokuja usiku!" Kisha akakifafanua hicho kinachokuja usiku kwa kauli yake: "Ni Nyota yenye mwanga mkali" ambayo hupenya mbingu mpaka ikaonekana katika ardhi. Lakini maana sahihi hapa ni kwamba ni jina la jenasi linalojumuisha nyota zote zinazoonekana usiku. Na imesemwa kwamba ni Zohali inayopenya mbingu saba hadi mtu akaweza kuiona. Na kilichokusudiwa na kiapo hapa ni kauli yake "Hapana nafsi ila inayo mwangalizi." Yeye huihifadhia matendo yake nzuri na mbaya, na italipwa kwa vitendo vyake alivyohifadhiwa.
