Al-Qiyaama
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. أَيَحْسَبُ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ أَلَّن نَّجْمَعَ عِظَامَهُۥ 3 بَلَىٰ قَـٰدِرِينَ عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّسَوِّىَ بَنَانَهُۥ 4
{3 - 4} Kisha akajulisha pamoja na haya ya kwamba baadhi ya watu wakaidi wanaikadhibisha Siku ya Kiyama, akasema: "Anadhani mtu kuwa Sisi hatutaikusanya mifupa yake" baada ya kifo? Kama alivyosema [katika Aya nyingine]: "Akasema: Ni nani huyo atakayeihuisha mifupa nayo imekwishamung'unyika?" Basi mtu huyu kutokana na ujinga wake na kuvuka kwake mipaka akaona kwamba hauwezi uwezo wa Mwenyezi Mungu kuumba mifupa yake ambayo ni nguzo za mwili, naye akamjibu kwa kusema: "Kwani! Sisi tunaweza hata kuziweka sawa sawa ncha za vidole vyake!" Na hilo linalazimu kwamba ataumba viungo vyote vya mwili. Kwa sababu ikiwa vitapatikana vidole na ncha zake, basi umbile la mwili wote litakuwa limeshatimia.
