This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَقَالَ نُوحٌ رَّبِّ لَا تَذَرْ عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ مِنَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ دَيَّارًا 26 إِنَّكَ إِن تَذَرْهُمْ يُضِلُّوا۟ عِبَادَكَ وَلَا يَلِدُوٓا۟ إِلَّا فَاجِرًا كَفَّارًا 27
{26 - 27} "Na Nuhu akasema: Mola wangu Mlezi! Usimwache juu ya ardhi mkaazi wake yeyote katika makafiri" azunguke juu ya uso wa ardhi. Kisha akataja sababu ya hilo, akasema: "Hakika ukiwaacha watawapoteza waja wako, wala wao hawatazaa ila waovu makafiri." Yaani, kuendelea kwao kuishi ni uharibifu mtupu kwao na kwa wengine. Na hakika Nuhu alisema haya, kwa sababu licha ya kutangamana kwake nao mara kwa mara na kuamiliana na tabia zao, alijua kutokana na hayo matokeo ya matendo yao. Basi ndiyo maana Mwenyezi Mungu aliitikia wito wake na akawazamisha wote, na akamuokoa Nuhu na waliokuwa pamoja naye miongoni mwa waumini.
