Al-A'raaf
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. قَالَ ٱلْمَلَأُ مِن قَوْمِ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَسَـٰحِرٌ عَلِيمٌ 109
{109} Lakini wale wasioamini lau kuwa watajiwa na kila Ishara, hawaamini mpaka waione adhabu chungu. Na ndiyo maana "Wakasema waheshimiwa kutoka katika kaumu ya Firauni" wakati walipostaajabishwa na yale waliyoyaona miongoni mwa Aya mbalimbali na hawakuamini, na wakazitafutia tafsiri potovu: "Hakika huyo ni mchawi majuaye vyema;" yaani, mjuzi katika uchawi wake.
