Al-An'aam
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَلَقَدِ ٱسْتُهْزِئَ بِرُسُلٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَحَاقَ بِٱلَّذِينَ سَخِرُوا۟ مِنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ 10
{10} Yeye Mtukufu anasema akimfariji Mtume wake, na akimhimiza kuwa na subira, na akiwatishia maadui zake, na akiwaahidi adhabu; "Na hakika walifanyiwa mzaha Mitume waliokuwa kabla yako." Walipowajia umma wao na hoja zilizo wazi, wakawakadhibisha na wakawafanyia mzaha, na yale waliyokuja nayo, basi Mwenyezi Mungu akawaangamiza kwa sababu ya ukafiri huo na kukadhibisha, na akawatimizia sehemu yao kamili ya adhabu. "Lakini wale waliowafanyia mzaha yakawafika yale yale waliyokuwa wakiyafanyia mzaha. Basi jihadharini enyi mnaokadhibisha na kuendelea na kukadhibisha kwenu, mkaja kupatwa na yale yaliyowapata.
