Al-Qamar
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. Sabīl did not write or translate any of it.

فَدَعَا رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنِّى مَغْلُوبٌ فَٱنتَصِرْ 10
{10} Kisha Nuhu akamwomba Mola wake Mlezi, na akasema: "Kwa hakika mimi nimeshindwa." Mimi siwezi kuwashinda. Kwa sababu hawakuamini katika kaumu yake isipokuwa wachache tu, na hawakuwa na uwezo wa kukabiliana watu wao. “Basi ninusuru” ewe Mwenyezi Mungu dhidi yao. Na alisema katika Aya nyingine: “Mola wangu Mlezi! Usimwache juu ya ardhi mkazi wake yeyote katika makafiri...” hadi mwisho wa Aya.
