An-Najm
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَمَا يَنطِقُ عَنِ ٱلْهَوَىٰٓ 3 إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا وَحْىٌ يُوحَىٰ 4
{3 - 4} "Wala hatamki kwa matamanio" ya nafsi yake. "Hayakuwa haya ila ni ufunuo uliofunuliwa." Yaani hafuati isipokuwa yale yaliyoteremshwa kwake ya uwongofu na ucha Mungu, yeye mwenyewe na katika watu wengine. Hili linaashiria kwamba Sunna ni wahyi kutoka kwa Mwenyezi Mungu kwenda kwa Mtume wake – rehema na amani za Mwenyezi Mungu ziwe juu yake- kama alivyosema Mwenyezi Mungu: "Na Mwenyezi Mungu amekuteremshia Kitabu na hekima." Na kwamba amehifadhiwa kukosea katika yale anayoyafikisha kuhusu Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu na sheria yake. Kwa sababu maneno yake hayatokani na matamanio yake, bali yanatokana na ufunuo uliofunuliwa.
