Al-Maaida
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. فَأَثَـٰبَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِمَا قَالُوا۟ جَنَّـٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ جَزَآءُ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ 85
{85} Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu akasema, "Basi Mwenyezi Mungu akawalipa kwa yale waliyoyasema. Yaani, kwa sababu ya yale waliyoyasema ya Imani na wakatamka kwa kuisadiki haki, "Mabustani yapitayo mito kwa chini yake, wadumu humo. Na hayo ndiyo malipo ya wafanyao wema." Aya hizi ziliteremshwa kuhusiana na Wakristo ambao walimuamini Muhammad - rehema na Amani zimshukie - kama vile An-Najashi na wengineo katika wale walioamini miongoni mwao. Na vile vile haijaacha kupatikana miongoni mwao yule anayeichagua dini ya Uislamu. Na unambainikia ubatili wa yale waliyokuwa wakiyafuata, nao wako karibu zaidi na dini ya Uislamu kuliko Mayahudi na washirikina.
