Al-Hujuraat
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ صَبَرُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ تَخْرُجَ إِلَيْهِمْ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ 5
{5} Ndiyo maana akasema: ''Na lau wao wangelingojea mpaka uwatokee, ingelikuwa heri kwao. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye maghfira, Mwingi wa kurehemu." Yaani: Kusamehe mno madhambi na uvunjaji wa maadili yaliyotendwa na waja wake, Mwingi wa kuwarehemu, kwani hakuwaharakishia dhambi zao kwa mateso na adhabu za mifano.
