Al-Fath
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. لِّيُدْخِلَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ جَنَّـٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا وَيُكَفِّرَ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ ۚ وَكَانَ ذَٰلِكَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ فَوْزًا عَظِيمًا 5
{5} ''Ili awaingize Waumini wanaume na Waumini wanawake katika Bustani za mbinguni zipitazo mito kati yake, wadumu humo, na awafutie makosa yao." Haya ndiyo makubwa zaidi yatakayowapata Waumini kwa kupata wanayoyatamani kwa kuingia katika Bustani za mbinguni, na kuwaondolea wanayohofiwa kwa kuwafutia mabaya yao. ''Na huko" ambako kumetajwa kuhusu malipo ya Waumini, ''ndiko kufuzu kukubwa mbele ya Mwenyezi Mungu." Hivi ndivyo watakavyofanyiwa Waumini katika ushindi huo wa wazi.
