This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ حَتَّىٰ نَعْلَمَ ٱلْمُجَـٰهِدِينَ مِنكُمْ وَٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ وَنَبْلُوَا۟ أَخْبَارَكُمْ 31
{31} Kisha akataja mtihani mkubwa zaidi anaowajaribu kwa huo waja wake, ambao ni kipigana jihadi katika njia ya Mwenyezi Mungu, akasema: "Na bila ya shaka, tutawajaribu" imani yenu na subira yenu "mpaka tuwajue wapiganao Jihadi katika nyinyi na wanaosubiri. Nasi tutazifanyia mtihani habari zenu." Basi anayetekeleza amri ya Mwenyezi Mungu na akapigana katika njia ya Mwenyezi Mungu kwa kunusuru Dini yake na kunyanyua neno lake, basi huyo ndiye Muumini wa kweli. Na mwenye kujitia uvivu katika hilo, huo utakuwa ni upungufu katika imani yake.
