Al-Ahqaf

Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَا مَا حَوْلَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْقُرَىٰ وَصَرَّفْنَا ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ 27 فَلَوْلَا نَصَرَهُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ قُرْبَانًا ءَالِهَةًۢ ۖ بَلْ ضَلُّوا۟ عَنْهُمْ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ إِفْكُهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ 28
{27 - 28} Mwenyezi Mungu anawatahadharisha washirikina wa Kiarabu na wengine kwa kuangamizwa kwa umma waliokadhibishaa ambao wao wako karibu na makazi yao, bali wengi yake yako katika bara la Arabu, kama vile 'Aad, Thamud, na wengineo kama wao. Na kwamba Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu aliwapa "ishara mbalimbali" za aina zote, "ili wapate kurejea" kutoka kwa kufuru wao huo na kukadhibisha. Lakini walipokataa kuamini, Mwenyezi Mungu aliwachukua kwa mchukuo wa Mwenye nguvu, Mwenye uwezo, na miungu yao waliyokuwa wakiiabudu badala ya Mwenyezi Mungu haikuwasaidia kwa chochote. Ndiyo maana akasema hapa: "Bali waliwapotea!" Hawakuwajibu wala kuwaondolea chochote. "Na huo ndio uongo mkubwa waliokuwa wakiuzua" ya uongo waliojidanganya nayo, ambapo walidai kwamba wako kwenye haki, na kwamba matendo yao yatawanufaisha, lakini yalipotelea mbali na yakabatilika.
