Ad-Dukhaan
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. رَبِّ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ ۖ إِن كُنتُم مُّوقِنِينَ 7 لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ يُحْىِۦ وَيُمِيتُ ۖ رَبُّكُمْ وَرَبُّ ءَابَآئِكُمُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ 8
{7 - 8} "Mola Mlezi wa mbingu na ardhi na vilivyo baina ya viwili hivyo." Yaani, Muumba wake, msimamizi wake, na anayeviendesha atakavyo, "ikiwa nyinyi mna yakini." Yaani, ikiwa mnayajua hayo elimu yenye kumfanya mtu kuwa na yakini. Basi jueni kwamba Mola Mlezi wa viumbe ndiye Mungu wavyo wa haki, na ndiyo maana akasema: "Hakuna mungu ila Yeye." Yaani, hakuna anayefaa kuabudiwa kwa haki ila Uso wake. "Anahuisha na anafisha;" yaani, Yeye pekee ndiye mwenye anayeendesha suala la kufufua na kufisha, na atakukusanyeni baada ya kufa kwenu na atakulipeni kwa matendo yenu, ikiwa ni heri, basi kwa heri. Na ikiwa ni shari, basi kwa shari. "Mola Mlezi wenu na Mola Mlezi wa baba zenu wa mwanzo." Yaani, Mola Mlezi wa wa mwanzo na wa mwisho. Anayewalea kwa neema zake, anayewazuilia adhabu.
