Ad-Dukhaan
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. وَمَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا لَـٰعِبِينَ 38 مَا خَلَقْنَـٰهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ 39
{38 - 39} Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu anajulisha kuhusu ukamilifu wa uwezo wake na ukamilifu wa hekima yake, na kwamba hakuziumba mbingu na ardhi kwa ajili ya mchezo wala kwa pumbao, wala bure bila manufaa, na kwamba hakuziumba "ila kwa Haki." Yaani, kuviumba kwenyewe ni kwa Haki, na uumbaji wake umejumuisha haki, na kwamba aliviumba ili vimuabudu Yeye pekee, bila mshirika, na ili awaamrishe waja wake na awakataze, na awalipe mazuri na awaadhibu; "lakini wengi wao hawajui." Kwa hivyo, hawakutafakari katika kuumbwa mbingu na dunia.
