Ad-Dukhaan
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. حمٓ 1 وَٱلْكِتَـٰبِ ٱلْمُبِينِ 2 إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ فِى لَيْلَةٍ مُّبَـٰرَكَةٍ ۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُنذِرِينَ 3
{1 - 3} Hiki ni kiapo kwa Qur-ani juu ya Qur-ani. Kwa hivyo aliapa kwa Kitabu kinachobainisha kila kinachohitaji kuelezwa kwamba alikiteremsha: "katika usiku uliobarikiwa." Yaani: wenye heri na baraka nyingi, nao ni Usiku wa Cheo (Lailatul-Qadr) ambao ni bora kuliko miezi elfu moja. Basi aliteremsha maneno bora zaidi katika usiku na michana bora zaidi kwa kiumbe bora zaidi kwa lugha ya Waarabu watukufu; ili kuwaonya watu waliogubikwa na ujinga na wakasifika mno na hali ya kuwa mashakani, ili waangazwe na nuru yake, wachukue uongofu wake, na watembelee nyuma yake, ili wapate heri ya duniani na akhera, na ndiyo maana akasema: "Hakika Sisi ni Waonyaji."
