Ash-Shura
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. لِّلَّهِ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُ ۚ يَهَبُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ إِنَـٰثًا وَيَهَبُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ ٱلذُّكُورَ 49 أَوْ يُزَوِّجُهُمْ ذُكْرَانًا وَإِنَـٰثًا ۖ وَيَجْعَلُ مَن يَشَآءُ عَقِيمًا ۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمٌ قَدِيرٌ 50
{49 - 50} Aya hii ina habari kuhusu upana wa ufalme wake Mtukufu na kutekelezeka kwa uendeshaji wake katika ufalme wake, kama vile kuumba atakavyo na kuendesha mambo yote, kwa kiasi kwamba, kwa sababu ya ujumla wa uendeshaji wake Mtukufu unajumuisha visababu vilivyoumbwa anavyofanya mja. Kwa mfano, kuoa ni kisababu cha kuzaa watoto. Lakini Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu ndiye anayewapa watoto atakavyo. Miongoni mwa viumbe wapo wale anaowatunukia watoto wa kike na miongoni mwao wapo wale anaowatunukia watoto wa kiume, na miongoni mwao wapo wale anaowachanganyia wawili hao: wa kiume na wa kike, na miongoni mwao wapo anaowafanya tasa. "Hakika Yeye ni Mwenye kujua vyema" kila kitu, "Mwenye uwezo mkubwa" juu ya kila kitu. Anawaendesha viumbe wake kwa elimu yake, ustadi wake na uwezo wake.
