Ash-Shura
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَمَآ أَصَـٰبَكُم مِّن مُّصِيبَةٍ فَبِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَيَعْفُوا۟ عَن كَثِيرٍ 30
{30} Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu anatuambia kwamba msiba hauwafikii waja wake katika miili yao, mali zao, watoto wao, na katika yale wanayoyapenda na ukawa mkubwa sana kwao isipokuwa kwa sababu ya mabaya waliyoyatanguliza kwa mikono yao, na kwamba yale ambayo Mwenyezi Mungu anayasamehe ni makubwa zaidi. Kwani, hakika Mwenyezi Mungu hawadhulumu waja wake, bali wanajidhulumu wenyewe. "Na lau kuwa Mwenyezi Mungu angeliwachukulia ubaya watu kwa waliyoyachuma, basi asingelimuacha juu ya ardhi hata mnyama mmoja."
