Fussilat
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ رَبَّنَآ أَرِنَا ٱلَّذَيْنِ أَضَلَّانَا مِنَ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلْإِنسِ نَجْعَلْهُمَا تَحْتَ أَقْدَامِنَا لِيَكُونَا مِنَ ٱلْأَسْفَلِينَ 29
{29} "Na" wafuasi miongoni mwa "wale waliokufuru watasema" kwa njia ya hasira kubwa zaidi juu ya wale waliowapoteza: "'Mola wetu Mlezi! Tuonyeshe wale waliotupoteza miongoni mwa majini na watu'" waliokuwa wakilingania kwenye Jahanaam, "ili tuwaweke chini ya miguu yetu, wapate kuwa miongoni wa walio chini kabisa.'" Yaani, wadhalilike na wadunishwe pia kama walivyotupotosha, wakatutia katika majaribu na wakawa ndio sababu ya haya tuliyomo. Na haya yanaelezea chuki waliyo nayo wao kwa wao, na kujitenga mbali kwao wenyewe kwa wenyewe.
