An-Nisaa
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. أَمْ لَهُمْ نَصِيبٌ مِّنَ ٱلْمُلْكِ فَإِذًا لَّا يُؤْتُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ نَقِيرًا 53
{53} “Au wanalo fungu katika mamlaka?” Ili wampendelee wamtakaye juu ya wamtakaye kwa matamanio yao tu, na ili wawe washirika wa Mwenyezi Mungu katika kuendesha ufalme. Na lau kuwa walikuwa hivyo, basi wangekuwa wabahili wakubwa mno. Na ndiyo maana akasema, “Basi hapo,” yani lau wangekuwa na fungu katika mamlaka, “wasingewapa watu hata jicho la kokwa ya tende;” yani kitu hata kidogo. Na huku ni kuwaeleza kuwa ni wabahili sana katika ikiwa ingewezekana wawe na mamlaka yenye kushirikiana na mamlaka ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Na hili lilikuja kwa njia ya swali la kupinga ambalo linathibitisha kupinga hilo kwa kila mtu.
