An-Nisaa
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَمَاذَا عَلَيْهِمْ لَوْ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ وَأَنفَقُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِمْ عَلِيمًا 39
{39} Yani ni nini kitakuwa juu yao, na ni uzito upi na ugumu upi utakaowapata lau watamwamini Mwenyezi Mungu, ambayo ndiyo ikhlasi (kumfanyia Yeye peke yake). Na wakatoa katika mali zao ambazo aliwaruzuku Mwenyezi Mungu, na akawaneemesha kwazo, kwa hivyo wakawa wamekusanya kati ya kumfanyia Yeye peke yake na kutoa. Na pindi kulipokuwa kumfanyia Yeye peke yake ni siri baina ya mja na Mola wake Mlezi, haioni isipokuwa Mwenyezi Mungu peke yake. Yeye Mtukufu akajulisha kwamba Yeye anaijua kila hali, akasema, “Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kuwajua vyema.”
