An-Nisaa
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُخَفِّفَ عَنكُمْ ۚ وَخُلِقَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ ضَعِيفًا 28
{28} “Na Mwenyezi Mungu anataka kwamba awahafifishie.” Yani, kuwepesisha yale aliyowaamrisha na yale aliyowakataza. Kisha kutokea kwa ugumu katika baadhi ya sheria, aliwaruhusu kwa kiwango ambacho kinatakiwa na mahitaji yenu, kama vile mzoga, na damu, na mfano wa hayo kwa mwenye kulazimishwa. Na kama vile kumuoa mjakazi huru kwa masharti yale yaliyotangulia. Na hayo ni kwa sababu ya rehema yake kamili na wema wake wenye kujumuisha, na elimu yake, na hekima yake juu ya udhaifu wa mwanadamu katika nyanja zote. Udhaifu wa muundo, na udhaifu wa nia, na udhaifu wa azimio, na udhaifu wa imani, na udhaifu wa subira. Kwa hivyo, hayo yakawa mwafaka kwamba Mwenyezi Mungu amhafifishie kile anachodhoofika juu yake. Na kile ambacho imani yake, na subira yake, na nguvu zake haviwezi kustahimili.
