As-Saaffaat
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. إِنَّكُمْ لَذَآئِقُوا۟ ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلْأَلِيمِ 38 وَمَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ 39
{38 - 39} Na kwa kuwa kauli yao iliyotangulia ilikuwa kwamba: "Hakika bila ya shaka tutaonja tu adhabu." Ni kauli ya kweli, lakini ambayo pia huenda wakawa wakweli katika hilo au la. Yeye Mtukufu akajulisha kuhusu hii ya kukataa ambayo haina uwezekano mwingine isipokuwa ukweli na yakini, ambayo ni habari iliyotoka kwake, Aliyetukuka, akasema: "Hakika nyinyi bila ya shaka mtaionja adhabu chungu, wala hamlipwi ila hayo mliyokuwa mkiyafanya." Na wala hatutawadhulumu, bali tutawafanyia uadilifu.
