This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. وَٱلصَّـٰٓفَّـٰتِ صَفًّا 1 فَٱلزَّٰجِرَٰتِ زَجْرًا 2 فَٱلتَّـٰلِيَـٰتِ ذِكْرًا 3 إِنَّ إِلَـٰهَكُمْ لَوَٰحِدٌ 4
{1 - 4} Hiki ni kiapo chake Mola Mtukufu kuhusu Malaika watukufu katika hali yao ya ibada na usimamizi wao yale wanavyosimamia, kwa idhini ya Mola wao Mlezi, kwa mujibu wa uungu wake Mwenyezi Mungu aliyetukuka, na umola wake. Akasema: "Ninaapa kwa wanaojipanga kwa safu" katika kumtumikia Mola wao Mlezi, na hao ni Malaika. "Na kwa wenye kukataza mabaya," na wale wanaopeperusha mawingu na mengineyo kwa idhini ya Mwenyezi Mungu. "Na kwa wenye kusoma Ukumbusho," nao ni Malaika wale wanaosoma maneno ya Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu. Na kwa kuwa wanamfanyia uungu na kumuabudu Mola wao Mlezi, huku wakimtumikia bila ya kumuasi kiasi cha kupepesa jicho. Akaapa kwao kwa uungu wake juu yao, akasema: "Hakika Mungu wenu bila ya shaka ni Mmoja," wala hana mshirika yeyote katika uungu. Kwa hivyo mkusudieni Yeye tu kwa upendo wenu, hofu, matumaini, na aina nyinginezo zote za ibada.
