This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. مَّا يَفْتَحِ ٱللَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ مِن رَّحْمَةٍ فَلَا مُمْسِكَ لَهَا ۖ وَمَا يُمْسِكْ فَلَا مُرْسِلَ لَهُۥ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ 2
{2} Kisha akataja kuwa Mwenyezi Mungu ni peke yake katika kuendesha mambo, kupeana, na kuzuia. Akasema: "Rehema ambayo Mwenyezi Mungu anawafungulia watu, hapana wa kuizuia. Na anayoizuia" miongoni mwa rehema yake, "hapana wa kuiachilia isipokuwa Yeye." Hili linalazimu kushikamana na Mwenyezi Mungu na kumhitajia kwa njia zote, na kwamba asiombwe wala kuhofiwa wala kutarajiwa isipokuwa Yeye. "Naye ndiye Mwenye nguvu" ambaye alishinda kila kitu. "Mwenye hekima" anayeweka vitu mahali pake pa sawasawa, na kuvishusha katika vyeo vyake vifaavyo.
